Perspirex Antiperspirant Roll-On (25ml Roll-On Bottle) - Excessive perspiration (sweating) is caused by hyperactivity in sweat glands – can be experienced by anyone at any time. If you’ve suffered from it, you’ve probably tried several solutions and found that they haven’t delivered adequate protection.
Perspirex is different. It's perfume-free and non-staining formulation is clinically proven to provide the best protection from sweat and odour.
One application works for up to FIVE DAYS. With the sweat and odour taken care of, you can apply a regular scented deodorant or perfume if you wish.
Perspirex uses a refined formulation that minimises the irritation commonly associated with other aluminium chloride-based antiperspirants, making it suitable for even the most delicate underarm skin. Its perfume-free and non-staining formulation is clinically proven to provide lasting protection and odour. No sweat, no smell.
How does Perspirex work?
Perspirex works by temporarily rendering ineffective the sweat glands. The Aluminum Chloride in Perspirex reacts with the water in the sweat gland and forms a keratin plug in the gland. This little plug causes the sweat gland to go dormant.
The plug will be expelled with the shedding of the dead cells on the surface of the skin, and the sweat gland will become active again. This process takes from a couple of days up to a week, which is why you have to reapply Perspirex only 1-3 times a week.
Why is Perspirex so effective?
The unique proposition offered by Perspirex is the combination of the active ingredient Aluminum chloride in an alcohol base and the Aluminum Lactate buffer (patented formula) that ensure comfort in use. This formulation effectively renders the sweat production temporarily inactive deep in the sweat glands.
Can I use Perspirex on other places on the body, e.g. sweat on my back?
Yes. You can use Perspirex on other parts of the body where you have excessive or bothersome perspiration, being very careful to avoid mucus membranes such as eyes, mouth, genitals etc. Perspiration is a mechanism to regulate body temperature; therefore do not cover more than a maximum of 10% of your body surface at one time with an antiperspirant.
Directions:
How to use Perspirex Underarm Roll-on Antiperspirant:
Using this applicator, apply Perspirex to the underarm area and allow to dry in the air. If necessary use a hairdryer to make sure skin is completely dry. It is the best way to ensure that there is no moisture left on the skin that may cause irritation.
Wash off the following morning with soap and water. Do not re-apply. Although this may seem strange, don't worry, you will not need any protection other than Perspirex - even after you have washed it off in the morning as instructed.
Do not use any other anti-perspirant or deodorant. Apply Perspirex every night until your perspiration problem is under control (this should take no longer than 3 days) then reduce use to 2 to 3 times weekly. Do not use more regularly or you risk irritation.
