Niquitin CQ 2mg Lozenge can be used by people who smoke after 30 minutes of waking. These lozenges can help you to reduce the weight gain often associated with quitting. They let you control when you get your nicotine. They’re easy to keep handy, discreet to use, and come in two flavours - original and mint.
The strength of lozenge you use depends on when you have your first cigarette of the day. If you tend to light up within 30 minutes of waking up, you’ll need NiQuitin 4mg Lozenges. If you start more than 30 minutes after waking, you’ll need NiQuitin 2mg Lozenges.
Common Query: What if I slip up and have a cigarette?
Don’t worry – it happens. If you've just had one or two, it's not the end of the world and you haven't necessarily erased the health benefits you've already gained by stopping smoking. After a slip up, the first thing to do is throw out all your cigarettes – then forgive yourself and get right back on track. Don't beat yourself up about it, and don’t discard your NiQuitin in a panic – you need them now more than ever.
If you've been smoking regularly again, don't be too hard on yourself either. You've learned about what works and what doesn't, and with that knowledge, you’re more likely to be successful next time.
How to use Niquitin Cq 2mg Lozenge Original:
Adult smokers 18 years or over:
For the next 12 weeks use 1 to 2 lozenges a day only when strongly tempted to smoke. Not to be used for more than 24 consecutive weeks.
Following the step-down programme in this way will let you gradually wean yourself off nicotine so you can quit for good.
Allow lozenge to dissolve in the mouth, occasionally moving lozenge from one side to the other, until dissolved (about 20-30 minutes).
If you’re not ready to give up smoking straightaway, you can also take NiQuitin Lozenges to help you cut down before stopping completely.
Caution when using Niquitin Cq 2mg Lozenge Original:
. Do not chew or swallow whole.

. Young persons under 18 years: not to be used.
