We dispense NHS prescriptions and will give advice on how to get the most benefit from your medicines. We keep a comprehensive stock of medicines and use a fast and an efficient wholesaler service to enable us to fill all prescriptions promptly.

We can dispense NHS repeat dispensing prescriptions issued by your doctor. Ask us for more information about this service.
Medicine Containers
All medicines are dispensed in child resistant containers unless you ask us not to.
Please remember: Keep all medicines out of the reach and sight of children. Our pharmacist can advise you on safe storage of medicines.
NHS Unwanted Medicines Service
Please return all unwanted medicines to the pharmacy where we will dispose of them safely.
NHS Health Advice and Self-Care
The pharmacist and our trained assistants are available for advice on all medicines and minor ailments. We can also give you advice on how to live a healthy life, for example, advice on how to stop smoking or healthy diets. Patient Medication Records
Our computer allows us to keep records of all your prescriptions dispensed by us. This helps us check for possible problems, such as interactions between medicines and will help us deal with any queries you may have.
We comply with the Data Protection Act and the NHS code of practice on confidentiality. If you want to discuss the records we keep, please ask to speak to the pharmacist.

Lyclear Creme Rinse (59ml Bottle): is used to treat head lice infestations.
Permethrin (the active ingredient) belongs of a group of medicines called pyrethroids which are anti-parasitic agents. This anti-parasitic agent helps make Lyclear Creme Rinse so successful:

Instructions for Lyclear Creme Rinse:
Please follow instructions carefully.
Shampoo the hair with a mild shampoo.
Do not use combined shampoo-conditioner or a medicated shampoo.
After shaking the bottle thoroughly, apply sufficient Lyclear Creme Rinse to saturate the hair, root and scalp. Work methodically through the hair and remember to pay particular attention to the areas behind the ears and around the nape of the neck. For the majority of individuals all of the contents of this pack will be required to ensure that the hair and scalp are well saturated.
Leave Lyclear Creme Rinse on the hair for 10 minutes. An application for longer than 10 minutes will not give better result, but a full 10 minutes is required.
Rinse toughly with water. After the final rinse and while the hair is still wet, use the comb provided in the pack to remove the lice and eggs. Comb the hair in sections from the roots and work over the whole head in this way. Normal hair drying routines can then be followed.
Lyclear Creme Rinse should not irritate your eyes, although care should be taken when applying. If accidental contact does occur, rise immediately with plenty of water.

Like all medicines Lyclear Creme Rinse may have some possible side-effects. However with Lyclear Creme Rinse side-effects are not common and when they occur they are usually mild and cannot be distinguished from the head lice infection itself. Occasionally skin irritation, redness or rash may occur. If you notice and side-effects not mentioned in this leaflet, or are worried about the above side-effects, contact your doctor or pharmacist.
