What is Chafing?
When skin repeatedly rubs against skin or clothing, it causes friction which can lead to chafing. This can be caused by sport or just general activity, even just walking around the shops! Everyone suffers from chafing. It can cause a painful sting and if you just leave it, it can get really sore and irritated. Lanacane Anti-Chafing Gel: Feel the freedom from chafing, sore and rubbing skin.
What is the cause of chafing?
Chafing is caused by skin rubbing on skin or clothing rubbing on skin. When skin repeatedly rubs against skin or clothing, e.g. between thighs, against waistbands or seams in clothing, it causes friction which can lead to chafing.
Chafing can occur during sport or activity – but it can also occur doing everyday tasks or in the heat.
What are the symptoms of chafing?
Chafing can cause a painful sting and if you don’t do anything about it, your skin can get really sore and irritated. If left untreated, chafing can lead to skin inflammation and infection.
How does Lanacane Anti-Chafing Gel work?
Lanacane Anti-Chafing Gel works by forming a breathable barrier on your skin to prevent repeated rubbing of skin on skin or on clothing. It dries to a non-greasy finish on the skin, is non-staining and is gentle enough to use anywhere on the body, everyday.
How is Lanacane Anti-Chafing Gel different to other products on the market?
Lanacane Anti-Chafing Gel has a unique anti-friction formula which dries on contact, is clear, non-greasy and provides skin with long-lasting relief. Other products on the market either leave your skin feeling greasy (eg: petroleum jelly) or stain your clothes (eg: talcum powder).
How to apply Lanacane Anti-Chafing Gel - Simply smooth a small amount of Lanacane Anti-Chafing Gel onto the skin where chafing is likely to occur or has already occurred. The gel dries quickly to a clear, non-greasy finish and leaves your skin feeling ultra soft and smooth. In addition to protecting your skin the gel will also calm and soothe any irritation caused by previous chafing.
A small amount of Lanacane Anti-Chafing Gel goes a long way:
smooth a small dab on the irritated area
re-apply if necessary
to avoid future chafing, use prior to activity
You should carefully read all product packaging and labels prior to use.
Lanacane Anti-Chafing Gel contains - Cyclopentasiloxane, Dimethicone Crosspolymer, Vinyl Dimethicone Crosspolymer, Zea Mays (Corn starch).
