We dispense NHS prescriptions and will give advice on how to get the most benefit from your medicines. We keep a comprehensive stock of medicines and use a fast and an efficient wholesaler service to enable us to fill all prescriptions promptly.
Repeat Dispensing
We can dispense NHS repeat dispensing prescriptions issued by your doctor. Ask us for more information about this service.
Medicine Containers
All medicines are dispensed in child resistant containers unless you ask us not to.
Please remember: Keep all medicines out of the reach and sight of children. Our pharmacist can advise you on safe storage of medicines.
NHS Unwanted Medicines Service
Please return all unwanted medicines to the pharmacy where we will dispose of them safely.
NHS Health Advice and Self-Care
The pharmacist and our trained assistants are available for advice on all medicines and minor ailments. We can also give you advice on how to live a healthy life, for example, advice on how to stop smoking or healthy diets. Patient Medication Records
Our computer allows us to keep records of all your prescriptions dispensed by us. This helps us check for possible problems, such as interactions between medicines and will help us deal with any queries you may have.
We comply with the Data Protection Act and the NHS code of practice on confidentiality. If you want to discuss the records we keep, please ask to speak to the pharmacist.

Daktarin Gold Cream (15g Tube): contains the active ingredient ketoconazole. This is an anti-fungal.
It works in the outer layer of the skin. This enables it to directly target the infection that causes athlete's foot. Even after just one week of treatment, the active ingredient continues to work for weeks and weeks to help keep you free from athlete's foot.
Research indicates that the effects of Daktarin Gold lasts for up to eight weeks from the start of the one week treatment. It is the ideal product to treat your symptoms easily and confidentially.
Directions:
How to use Daktarin Gold Cream:
For mild athlete's foot, apply Daktarin Gold Cream twice daily for one week.
For more severe or extensive athlete's foot apply twice daily for at least 2-3 days after symptoms
have cleared.
For dhobie itch and candidal intertrigo, apply Daktarin Gold Cream once or twice daily for at least 2-3 days after symptoms have cleared
Warnings:
Caution when using Daktarin Gold Cream:
Do not put the cream into your eyes. You should only use it on your skin.
If you are or have recently been applying a 'potent corticosteroid' medicine (such as betamethasone,
fluocinolone or triamcinolone) to your skin, speak to your doctor before you use Daktarin Gold
because you should not use them at the same time or within two weeks of each other.
Pregnancy and breastfeeding - If you are pregnant or are planning to become pregnant, you should
talk to your doctor before you use the cream. They will decide if you can use the cream. You can use
Daktarin Gold whilst breastfeeding. It is inadvisable to apply directly to the breast while breast
feeding.
You should carefully read all product packaging and labels prior to use
Ingredients:
Daktarin Gold Cream contains:
20 milligrams (mg) of ketoconazole water, propylene glycol, stearyl alcohol, cetyl alcohol, sorbitan stearate, polysorbate 60, polysorbate 80, isopropyl myristate and sodium sulphite (E221).
Side effects:
Possible side effects of using Daktarin Gold Cream:
Daktarin Gold does not usually cause side effects. Occasionally, you may get irritation or a burning sensation of the skin. If the irritation a very bad, stop using the cream and talk to your doctor.
In rare cases, if your skin is red and itchy after you have, put the cream on, it may mean that you are allergic to the medicine (see 'When should I not use Daktarin Gold?'). If this is the case, you should stop using it. If your medicine affects you in any other way, you should tell your doctor or pharmacist.
