Our computer allows us to keep records of all your prescriptions dispensed by us. This helps us check for possible problems, such as interactions between medicines and will help us deal with any queries you may have.

Anadin Ibuprofen 200mg Tablets (16 Tablets): Effective pain relief from:
Cold and flu symptoms
How to take Anadin Ibuprofen 200mg Tablets:
Adults, the elderly and young persons aged 16 and over should take 1 or 2 tablets with a drink of water up to 3 times a day as required.
The dose should not be repeated more than every four hours.
Do not take more than 6 tablets in 24 hours.
If symptoms persist for more than 10 days consult your doctor.
Do not take Anadin Ibuprofen if you are:
Allergic to asprin, other NSAIDs or any of the other ingredients in Anadin Extra. You have or have ever had a stomach ulcer, perforation or bleeding.
Suffer from haemophilia or are taking medicines that reduce blood clotting e.g. warfarin.
Ask your doctor or pharmacist before taking Anadin Ibuprofen if you are pregnant, astmatic or if you suffer from kidney, liver or blood disease.
Under 12 years of age.
Taking with any other paracetamol containing products
You should carefully read all product packaging and labels prior to use
Each Anadin Ibuprofen 200mg Tablets contains:
200mg of Ibuprofen, maize starch, pregelatinised starch, stearic acid, colloidal silica, macrogol, perfectamyl gel, carnauba wax, sucrose, polysorbate, titanium dioxide, iron oxide, povidone, talc, calcium carbonate, antifoam, shellac, butyl alcohol, soya lecithin.
Possible side effects after taking Anadin Ibuprofen:
Susceptible individuals may experience unwanted side effects. If you experience any of the side effects mentioned below or any other side effects, stop taking this medicine immediately and consult your doctor.
Possible allergic reactions:
Abdominal pain, nausea, indigestion, heartburn, constipation, diarrhoea and rarely peptic ulcer and bleeding in the stomach, shown by the vomiting of blood or dark particles that look like coffee grounds, or the passage of blood in your faeces (stools/motions) or black, tarry stools.
The blood may not clot well, which may result in easy bruising or bleeding and occasionally, anaemia.
May cause you to have blood in the urine, kidney damage and kidney failure.
Wheezing and breathing difficulties may be triggered in people suffering from or with a previous history of asthma.
May produce abnormal liver function test results, jaundice, inflammation of the liver and occasional liver failure.
