We can dispense NHS repeat dispensing prescriptions issued by your doctor. Ask us for more information about this service.

All medicines are dispensed in child resistant containers unless you ask us not to.
Please remember: Keep all medicines out of the reach and sight of children. Our pharmacist can advise you on safe storage of medicines.
NHS Unwanted Medicines Service
Please return all unwanted medicines to the pharmacy where we will dispose of them safely.
NHS Health Advice and Self-Care
The pharmacist and our trained assistants are available for advice on all medicines and minor ailments. We can also give you advice on how to live a healthy life, for example, advice on how to stop smoking or healthy diets. Self Care information is also available on our user friendly website: pharmacykwik.co.uk We can also direct you to other sources of advice and assistance if we cannot help you ourselves.
Patient Medication Records
Our computer allows us to keep records of all your prescriptions dispensed by us. This helps us check for possible problems, such as interactions between medicines and will help us deal with any queries you may have.
We comply with the Data Protection Act and the NHS code of practice on confidentiality. If you want to discuss the records we keep, please ask to speak to the pharmacist.

Wellkid Baby & Infant liquid - As a mum there’s nothing more important than the health and nutritional wellbeing of your baby or young child, and looking after your child’s nutritional intake when they are young can help safeguard their long term health.
Wellkid Baby & Infant liquid formula includes essential vitamins such as A, C & D (supplementation of these vitamins is recommended by Government experts, from the age of 6 months). It also includes B vitamins and vitamin E as well as the minerals, iron and zinc to help safeguard your growing infant’s nutritional intake and help maintain energy release and a healthy immune system.
Wellkid Baby & Infant liquid has been produced with an infant’s needs in mind and to offer a nutritional safeguard during a time when babies and infants have a high nutrient requirement in relation to body size, to support their rapid physical growth and development of bones, muscles, blood and the brain.
Brain & eyes
B vitamins including vitamins B6 and B12, iron and zinc play a role in helping to maintain healthy brain function. Iron is known to be essential for normal brain function and is especially important in relation to brain development, learning and memory. Iron is an essential part of the haemoglobin found in red blood cells. It facilitates the delivery of oxygen from the lungs to all body tissues including the brain. Iron is also a cofactor for several enzymes involved in energy metabolism.
As well as learning and behaviour, zinc is involved in many body processes including DNA and RNA synthesis, protein and carbohydrate metabolism, bone growth, integrity of the skin, a co-factor in many enzymes and also plays an important role in the immune system.
Wellkid Baby & Infant liquid, as well as being a balanced multivitamin for infants and young children also provides a source of omega-3 fatty acids derived from flaxseed oil.
Energy Release
Wellkid Baby & Infant Liquid, contains 500mg Swiss Alpine malt per spoonful as a natural energy source. A growing infants’ body also requires B vitamins including B1, B2 and folic acid so that it can convert carbohydrates from the food like malt into energy.
Directions:
How to take Wellkid Baby & Infant liquid:
Babies (3 to 6 months): 2.5 ml (1/2 teaspoon) daily
Infants (7 months to 5 years): 5ml (1 teaspoon) daily
Take after feeding.
Do not exceed the recommended intake.
Wash and dry the spoon thoroughly after use (not in a steam steriliser).
Wellkid Baby & Infant liquid has been specially formulated for babies and young children and is not recommended for adults.
