We can dispense NHS repeat dispensing prescriptions issued by your doctor. Ask us for more information about this service.

All medicines are dispensed in child resistant containers unless you ask us not to.
Please remember: Keep all medicines out of the reach and sight of children. Our pharmacist can advise you on safe storage of medicines.
NHS Unwanted Medicines Service
Please return all unwanted medicines to the pharmacy where we will dispose of them safely.
NHS Health Advice and Self-Care
The pharmacist and our trained assistants are available for advice on all medicines and minor ailments. We can also give you advice on how to live a healthy life, for example, advice on how to stop smoking or healthy diets. Patient Medication Records
Our computer allows us to keep records of all your prescriptions dispensed by us. This helps us check for possible problems, such as interactions between medicines and will help us deal with any queries you may have.
We comply with the Data Protection Act and the NHS code of practice on confidentiality. If you want to discuss the records we keep, please ask to speak to the pharmacist.

Buscopan Cramps (20 Tablets): is a tablet that contains a trusted active ingredient called hyoscine butylbromide, which has an anti-spasmodic action that relaxes the spasm in the digestive tract to ease pain and discomfort of stomach cramps. Unlike painkillers which mask the pain, Buscopan Cramps works directly on the cause of pain - the spasm in the gut -to provide effective relief.
A bit more about this product:
Buscopan Cramps is a remedy for stomach cramps caused by the muscle in your digestive tract going into spasm, when triggered by stress, lifestyle changes or eating certain foods.
Abdominal cramps are extremely common; around 40 per cent of people have suffered from stomach cramps at some point. They are very different from period pain or a tummy ache, pain from indigestion or heartburn and are a direct result of muscle spasm in your gut.
A spasm can be triggered by diet or lifestyle changes, food allergies or intolerances, hormonal factors or stress.
Stomach cramps may occur alongside other symptoms such as constipation and/or diarrhoea and abdominal bloating, excessive wind, headache, poor appetite, nausea and bladder problems.
Directions for use:
- Swallow each tablet whole with water.
- Do not chew.
For Abdominal Cramps:
- Adults and children 12 years and over: Take two tablets up to 4 times a day.
- Children 6-12 years: Take one tablet p to 3 times a day.
- Not recommended for children under 6 years.
For IBS:
- Adults and children 12 years and over: Start by taking one tablet 3 times a day. If more relief is needed, you can increase your dose to a maximum of two tablets 4 times a day.
- Not recommended for children under 12 years.
Ingredients:
Each tablet contains Hyoscine Butylbromide 10mg as the active ingredient. Also contains sucrose.
Cautions and Precautions to be aware of before using this product:
Not to be used if you have glaucoma (an eye condition), megacolon (a very enlarged colon), myasthenia gravis (a very rare muscle weakness) or are allergic to hyoscine butylbromide or the other ingredients. Store in a dry place below 25C. Protect from light. Please read the enclosed leaflet for further information. Do not exceed the stated dose. Keep out of the reach and sight of children.
