We dispense NHS prescriptions and will give advice on how to get the most benefit from your medicines. We keep a comprehensive stock of medicines and use a fast and an efficient wholesaler service to enable us to fill all prescriptions promptly.

We can dispense NHS repeat dispensing prescriptions issued by your doctor. Ask us for more information about this service.
Medicine Containers
All medicines are dispensed in child resistant containers unless you ask us not to.
Please remember: Keep all medicines out of the reach and sight of children. Our pharmacist can advise you on safe storage of medicines.
NHS Unwanted Medicines Service
Please return all unwanted medicines to the pharmacy where we will dispose of them safely.
NHS Health Advice and Self-Care
The pharmacist and our trained assistants are available for advice on all medicines and minor ailments. We can also give you advice on how to live a healthy life, for example, advice on how to stop smoking or healthy diets. Patient Medication Records
Our computer allows us to keep records of all your prescriptions dispensed by us. This helps us check for possible problems, such as interactions between medicines and will help us deal with any queries you may have.
We comply with the Data Protection Act and the NHS code of practice on confidentiality. If you want to discuss the records we keep, please ask to speak to the pharmacist.

Paracetamol Infant Sugar Free Suspension 3 Months+ (200ml Bottle): is used to treat mild to moderate pain including headache, migraine, neuralgia, toothache, sore throat, period pains, aches and pains.
It may also have been given to help reduce a fever and to help relieve the symptoms of cold and flu.

Directions:
How to use Paracetamol Infant Sugar Free Suspension 3 Months :
Age 2-3 months (weighing a 4kg and not a premature baby): a single 2.5ml spoonful may be given every 4-6 hours, four times a day. Do not exceed 10ml in a day.
Age 3-12 months: 2.5ml to one 5ml spoonful may be given every 4-6 hours, four times a day. Do not exceed 20ml in a day.
Age 1-6 years: one to two 5ml spoonfuls may be given every 4-6 hours, four times a day. Do not exceed 40ml in a day.
Age 6-12 years: two to four 5ml spoonfuls may be given every 4-6 hours, four times a day. Do not exceed 80ml in a day.
Adults and children over 12: four to eight 5ml spoonfuls may be given every 4-6 hours, four times a day. Do not exceed 160ml per day.
Do not give more than 4 doses in 24 hours. Do not give for more that 3 days without consulting a doctor.
Immediate medical advice should be sought in the event of an overdose even if you feel well because of the risk of delayed, serious liver damage.
It is suitable for babies and children from 2 months to 6 years of age.

Warnings:
Paracetamol Infant Sugar Free Suspension 3 Months should not be taken if:
You have ever had an usual reaction to paracetamol
You have a kidney disorder
You are dependent on alcohol
The baby weighs less than 4 kg or was born before 37 weeks
The baby is taking any other medication
Follow dosage instructions carefully, do not exceed the stated dose.
Speak to your doctor if anything in this list applies:
If a child is not getting better, or needs more medicine than shown in the table in the patient information leaflet.
If a child gets a rash, breathing problems, diarrhoea or gets very tired.
Do not give more than 4 doses in 24 hours. Do not give for more than 3 days without consulting a doctor.

Side Effects:
Side effects of Paracetamol Infant Sugar Free Suspension 3 Months :
Side effects of Paracetamol Infant Sugar Free Suspension 3 Months are not common although some may occur. If any of the following occur, seek medical attention:
skin rashes, blood disorders (these may be seen as fever or chills, sore throat, ulcers in your mouth or throat, unusual tiredness or weakness, unusual bleeding or unexplained bruises)
inflammation of the pancreas (this may be seen as severe pain in the abdomen and back, fever, loss of appetite, nausea and vomiting).
If paracetamol is taken for a long time, it may lead to kidney problems.
Allergic reactions may also occur. The symptoms that may be seen are a rash and swelling and in severe cases difficulty in breathing.
