This is a question I get asked on a weekly basis whilst out in practice and even more frequently via email. According to the Journal of the American Academy of Dermatology, eight million men suffer from hair loss in the UK. For those men who feel they are losing hair before their time, it can be particularly upsetting, leading to loss of self confidence and in some cases depression. It is especially true if the male in question is particularly young - say in their late teens, mid 20's.

When hair loss is experienced by men this young, it is usually due to a hereditary condition known as ANDROGENIC ALOPECIA.

The start of hair loss, may be noticing your hairline starting to recede or you may notice that you are gradually balding in the vertex area (crown area) or you may simply be worried because you may have noticed a lot more hair than usual being lost in the comb or being trapped down the plug hole!

It takes a lot of courage for a young man to approach me in the pharmacy about hereditary hair loss as the situation can be an embarrassing one to discuss face to face. The beauty of our fully registered online pharmacy is that we're only a phone call/email away. You can ask any question about Regaine saving any potential embarrassing conversations in front of other customers or other pharmacy staff. Furthermore if you decide to buy Regaine from our online chemist, it will be checked by one of our UK registered pharmacists: Mukaram or Mudassar and delivered, discretely to your door. Our service won't end there - we're on hand to answer questions you have about the product no matter how small or large the issue is.

I just want explain and reassure you about a few things:

Hair loss in young men is more common then you may think. Approximately 40% of men will show noticeable hair loss by the age of 35 and you should not feel embarrassed about looking for a solution. Regaine has been PROVEN to STOP and in some cases even REVERSE hereditary hair loss. In fact in one clinical trial, NINE OUT OF TEN men said they had kept or re-grown hair after using Regaine for 16 weeks.

How does it work?

Hair has a three phase cycle:

  3. REST

When a man experiences hereditary hair loss, it is because the balance between the three stages alters, with the growth phase SHORTENED and the rest phase EXTENDED. Minoxidil (the active ingredient found in Regaine) works to address this imbalance by encouraging the hair follicles to move from the resting phase to the growth phase and remain there for longer. The key here is to start using Regaine as early as possible as this will give the optimum effect.

Regaine Results:

When used TWICE DAILY, EVERY DAY, the following results can be seen with Regaine for Men Extra Strength Scalp Foam:

  • WEEK 1-2: Hair Shedding may occur for up to TWO WEEKS
  • WEEK 8: Re-growth may begin with soft and downy hair, which will become normal in time.
  • WEEK 12: Results should be visible and obvious.
  • WEEK 16: Nine out of ten men say they kept or re-grew hair. If no results have been seen, then I'd normally advise to discontinue use.

I find that the most suitable product for the younger man aged between 18-49 years of age would be Regaine for Men Extra Strength Scalp Foam as it contains 5% Minoxidil, the ONLY clinically proven 'over the counter' hair loss treatment for men. Regaine for Men Extra Strength Scalp Foam is so easy to use - it becomes part of your daily grooming regime - Just apply in the MORNING and EVENING to a dry scalp! That's all there is to it. Furthermore it can be used alongside other hair styling products but it should be THE FIRST product to be applied.

I think it's really important at this stage to stress that using Regaine Extra Strength Foam should become part of your daily routine - like brushing your teeth for example - it's critical becuase the product has to be used regularly, twice daily for at least eight weeks before any benefit can be seen. If you stop using the product, new hairs will be lost and any improvements seen so far will be compromised.

If you feel you suffer from hereditary hair loss and you want to discuss it further please do not hesitate to get in touch. Regaine Extra Strength Foam for men is easy to use, non-messy, unscented  and quick drying.

My advice is to give it a go, it will only take eight weeks to see re-growth taking place and if it works for you then to continue using the product will only cost £202 per year, thats just £16.83 per month!! I'm sure you'll agree that is a relatively small amount to have a full head of hair!

THREE MONTHS supply of Regaine For Men Extra strength Foam is just £50.50 (RRP is £69.95 - so you're saving is just under £20!!) DELIVERED to your door from, your online pharmacy.

You may even come across the American version of Regaine this is called Rogaine, this product is not licensed in the UK and should be avoided. My advice is get the genuine Regaine from our UK registered online pharmacy.
