Medicine Containers
All medicines are dispensed in child resistant containers unless you ask us not to.
Please remember: Keep all medicines out of the reach and sight of children. Our pharmacist can advise you on safe storage of medicines.
NHS Unwanted Medicines Service
Please return all unwanted medicines to the pharmacy where we will dispose of them safely.
NHS Health Advice and Self-Care
The pharmacist and our trained assistants are available for advice on all medicines and minor ailments. We can also give you advice on how to live a healthy life, for example, advice on how to stop smoking or healthy diets. Patient Medication Records
Our computer allows us to keep records of all your prescriptions dispensed by us. This helps us check for possible problems, such as interactions between medicines and will help us deal with any queries you may have.
We comply with the Data Protection Act and the NHS code of practice on confidentiality. If you want to discuss the records we keep, please ask to speak to the pharmacist.

Vitamin A is also known as retinol. It’s also the source of the wartime myth that British pilots ate carrots to sharpen their night-vision as a Vitamin A deficiency is reputed to lead to poor sight in low light. Vitamin A can actually help maintain normal vision. Carrots are one source of Vitamin A. Vitamin A is necessary for normal cell differentiation especially in the immune system.
Every cell in your body relies on thiamin to process adenosine triphosphate (ATP), the essential fuel. Thiamin is also known as Vitamin B1 and can be found in lots of foods such as pork, fresh fruit and vegetables, dried fruits, wholegrain breads and eggs. Thiamin, discovered in 1926, is necessary for the normal metabolism of carbohydrates. It is needed to help release energy from food.
Thiamin works hand-in-hand with the other B-complex vitamins to support good health. As well as working with the other B vitamins, thiamin is necessary for normal neurological and cardiac function. Which means it helps normal functions of the heart and nervous system.
Vitamin B6 is necessary for the normal transport and metabolism of Iron in the body. It is also needed for the formulation of haemoglobin. Vitamin B6 is needed for a healthy immune system and is needed for the production of antibodies. Vitamin B6 is also needed for the normal function of the nervous system.
Vitamin D is also known as calciferol. It’s used in healthy bodies to keep calcium levels in your blood high, protecting the reserves stored in your bones. It’s also needed in your body for creating and maintaining healthy bones and teeth. Vitamin D is needed for the development of healthy bones and teeth in childhood and in later years.
Directions:
How to take Seven Seas Haliborange Multivitamin Baby & Toddler Liquid:
Infants, 1 month to 4 months: Half a 5ml teaspoon daily
Infants, 4 months to 4 years: One 5ml teaspoon daily
Children and Adults 4 years and over: Two 5ml teaspoons daily
For children under 6 months the syrup can be mixed with milk or water.
