Repeat Dispensing
We can dispense NHS repeat dispensing prescriptions issued by your doctor. Ask us for more information about this service.
Medicine Containers
All medicines are dispensed in child resistant containers unless you ask us not to.
Please remember: Keep all medicines out of the reach and sight of children. Our pharmacist can advise you on safe storage of medicines.
NHS Unwanted Medicines Service
Please return all unwanted medicines to the pharmacy where we will dispose of them safely.
NHS Health Advice and Self-Care
The pharmacist and our trained assistants are available for advice on all medicines and minor ailments. We can also give you advice on how to live a healthy life, for example, advice on how to stop smoking or healthy diets. Patient Medication Records
Our computer allows us to keep records of all your prescriptions dispensed by us. This helps us check for possible problems, such as interactions between medicines and will help us deal with any queries you may have.
We comply with the Data Protection Act and the NHS code of practice on confidentiality. If you want to discuss the records we keep, please ask to speak to the pharmacist.

Voltarol Pain-eze Emulgel (50g Tube): For targeted relief from pain & swelling in muscles, neck and back
When to use
Voltarol Pain-eze Emulgel brings targeted local relief for pain and swelling (inflammation) in muscles, back and neck – to help you get moving again!
In addition, the gel relieves pain in joints, sprains, strains, and bruises, as well as, minor sports injuries related to tendons, ligaments, and tennis elbow.
How it works:
Unlike products* that work by only cooling or heating the skin, Voltarol Pain-eze Emulgel contains a non-steroidal anti-inflammatory drug (NSAID) called diclofenac which targets pain at its source.
The Emulgel technology helps the gel to penetrate deeply into the skin to enhance delivery of diclofenac to the point of pain.
The gel works by blocking production of some of the body’s chemicals that cause swelling (inflammation), pain and tenderness. Voltarol Pain-eze Emulgel has shown to be effective in providing relief and reducing neck pain compared to no treatment.

The active ingredient in Voltarol Pain-eze Emulgel, diclofenac, has been used as a pain reliever for 30 years in the UK. The Emulgel formula provides both the benefits of a moisturising cream and a cooling gel.
How to use:
- The amount of gel needed will vary depending upon the size of the painful or swollen area. An amount ranging in size from 1 penny to a 2 pence piece will usually be sufficient.
- Apply 3 to 4 times a day unless your doctor, general practitioner or pharmacist tells you otherwise, and allow at least 4 hours between applications of the gel.
- Do not apply more than 4 times in any 24-hour period.
Consult your doctor if pain and swelling do not improve within 7 days. Do not use the gel for longer than 7 days unless longer treatment has been recommended by a doctor. The gel is not recommended for use in children under 14 years of age.
